On July 7, 2026, Cameroon presented the key findings of the National Survey on the Impact of HIV in Cameroon (CAMPHIA) 2024-2025 in Yaoundé.
The survey was conducted among 25,083 adults interviewed and tested out of 29,029 eligible individuals, achieving an overall response rate of 76.2%.
These findings are critical for evaluating the impact of Cameroon’s HIV response and identifying areas for improvement.
The CAMPHIA 2024-2025 survey aims to provide accurate and reliable data on HIV prevalence, risk behaviors, and access to prevention and treatment services.
The results will be used to inform policy decisions and strategies for combating HIV in Cameroon.
